Amy Hoffman - The Boss

Who We Are

After having raised and home-schooled our two boys, Amy decided to go back to work. For a number of years she managed a shop for someone else, but her employer was, to put it euphemistically, an unappreciative psycho. She finally left, and spent about a year preparing to open her own shop. She opened in 2006. We were struggling along, in spite of the economy. We actually did OK for the first two years, but the downturn in the economy was too much for us. The tourism industry in our area has taken a very steep downturn. Amy's health also declined rapidly after her mother passed away.
Thus, we closed the store and decided to emphasize our online shop and scooter sales. We may add other local craft lines as the economy turns around.
